Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform your assessment.
